The Slow Food UW Cafe will reopen its doors (well the Crossing’s doors) tomorrow to serve up the first lunch of the semester!

Tomorrow’s menu will include:

Sandwiches:

Peaches, cream cheese and fresh basil with balsamic drizzle on homemade challah

Turkey, carrot-top pesto, pepper jack cheese and roasted tomato on homemade challah

Sides:

Corn Relish on a bed of mixed greens
Green bean salad with broccoli and cauliflower

Soup:
Tomato Zucchini Soup

Dessert:
Raspberry Hand Pies

Cafe will be held in the basement of the Crossing at 1127 University Avenue from 11:30 am- 2:00 pm. As always, we accept cash or credit. Whether you’re a Slow-Food aficionado or want to see what we’re all about, be sure to stop by!
